The BISS is owned, by the Bathurst Regional Council and operated by Bathurst Basketball, as part of their commitment to community service and their belief in maintaining adequate sporting facilities and keeping it accessible to the local community. At present the stadium runs five sport competitions (Multi-sports, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Badminton and Netball) catering for Mens, Womens, Mixed and junior athletes. The Stadium is also hired to schools and private recreation companies completing the current BISS court hire timetable.

The BISS services the region of Bathurst with the clientele derived from a number of stakeholders including competitive and social adult athletes, beginners and children athletes, representative athletes, and the elderly. These athletes partake in a number of indoor sports predominantly basketball, netball, soccer, multisports and volleyball.
