Volleyball

All competitions are social with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment rather then a competitive nature.

There are two seasons Winter (April - September) and Summer (September - April) with the competition pausing for the school holiday periods.

Teams pay a $26 season nomination fee and then each player pays $6 per game. Players need to play 60% of their games to be eligible to play in semi-finals and finals, where the winners receive prizes for winning their competition.

Competition draws and results are posted in the Western Advocate every week as part of their sponsorship agreement.

A mixed social Volleyball competition consisting of 8 teams is held on Tuesday evenings.

Games are 90 minutes long in duration commencing at 6pm and the last game finishes at 9:00pm, allowing 4 games to be played throughout the night.
